World Cup draw brackets confirmed: Spain, Argentina, France
Sports Weekly All-Media Original This Wednesday, FIFA updated the national team rankings, and the World Cup draw brackets were determined. The draw ceremony for the U.S.-Canada-Mexico World Cup will be held in Washington at 12:00 local time on December 5 (1:00 on December 6). The 48 participating teams will be divided into 12 groups. The top 2 in each group and the 8 best third-placed teams will advance to the top 32 for the knockout rounds. First Pot: United States, Canada, Mexico, Spain, Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany Second Pot: Croatia, Morocco, Colombia, Uruguay, Switzerland, Japan, Senegal, Iran, South Korea, Ecuador, Austria, Australia Australia Third pot: Norway, Panama, Egypt, Algeria, Scotland, Paraguay, Tunisia, Cote d'Ivoire, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa Fourth pot: Jordan, Cape Verde, Ghana, Curacao, Haiti, New Zealand, 4 teams advanced to the European play-offs, and 2 teams advanced to the intercontinental play-offs.
