Dawan News On the evening of October 11, the opening match of the boys’ high school group of the Anhui Provincial Youth Football League (referred to as the Huiqing League) was held on the Dream Lawn of Luogang Park in Hefei. This match featured a strong showdown between the men’s football teams of Hefei and Bengbu high schools.

It is worth mentioning that in the pilot match of the Huiqing Youth League held more than three months ago, the Hefei and Bengbu teams staged a fierce contest. In the unfavorable situation of conceding one goal at the beginning, the Hefei team scored three goals in a row and finally achieved a reversal. In the opening match of this Huiqing Youth League, the two teams met again. Compared with before, the player structure of both sides has undergone major changes, and the final result of the game is still very suspenseful.

At around 7 o'clock that night, the game officially started. Chen Xianhui, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, kicked off the game. In the first half, the Hefei team performed even better, receiving multiple corner kick opportunities and successfully scoring two of them, gaining a huge 3:0 advantage. In the second half of the game, the Bengbu team took advantage of a free kick opportunity in front of the penalty area and hit the goal directly. The Hefei team goalkeeper blocked the football, but due to a mistake, the football eventually rolled into the goal, and the Bengbu team regained a point. In the last attack before the end of the game, the Bengbu team regained one point and finally lost to the Hefei team 2:3.

It is understood that the Huizhou Youth Championship is a youth football brand event jointly organized by the Anhui Provincial Sports Bureau and the Provincial Department of Education. This year is the first time the Huizhou Youth Championship is held. The first Huizhou Youth Championship focuses on the men's high school and men's college competitions. For the boys' high school group, the city is the participating unit, and for the men's college group, the school is the participating unit.

During the halftime break of the game, Wei Shihao, a football player from Bengbu, Anhui Province and an active international football player, came to the scene to support the game and exchanged jerseys with the captains of the three youth training teams in Hefei, Bengbu, and Anhui. It was also particularly exciting outside the stadium. At the opening ceremony, teacher Han Zaifen came to sing in person, and there were also activities such as cheerleading dances with 100 people, freestyle football, dragon and lion dances, sports fairs and other activities, helping the audience gain a more perfect viewing experience.
