Mbappe will receive the European Golden Boot tonight, and his biggest opponents in defending the title are Kane and Haaland
Real Madrid Club has announced that forward Mbappe will receive last season’s European Golden Boot award at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on the evening of October 31. This is the first time Mbappe has won the European Golden Boot, and he is also the third Real Madrid player to win this honor after Hugo Sanchez and Cristiano Ronaldo. The European Golden Boot award is purely based on points generated by league goals, excluding assists. Mbappe scored 31 goals in La Liga last season. The goal points coefficient of the five major European leagues is 2, so his European Golden Boot points are 62 points. Arsenal center Jokeres scored 39 goals in the Portuguese Super League last season, but the points coefficient of the Portuguese Super League was only 1.5, and his European Golden Boot points were 58.5 points. Salah scored 29 Premier League goals for Liverpool last season. His 58 points for the European Golden Boot are slightly behind Jokeres. Lewandowski and Kane scored 27 and 26 league goals respectively last season, with 54 and 52 European Golden Boot points, ranking fourth and fifth respectively. As the current player with the highest valuation, Yamal scored 9 league goals last season and is temporarily uncompetitive in the European Golden Boot Award. This season, the most outstanding forwards in Europe are Kane, Haaland and Mbappe. The two veterans Salah and Lewandowski have significantly declined in form. Yokeres is not very efficient in scoring goals at Arsenal. Mbappe scored 11 goals in 10 appearances in La Liga, while Kane scored 12 goals in 8 appearances in the Bundesliga. England captain Kane has become France captain Mbappe's biggest competitor to defend the European Golden Boot award. Kane currently maintains the lead. Haaland has scored 11 goals in 9 appearances in the Premier League and is also very competitive. La Liga and the Premier League have 38 rounds of games in a season, while the Bundesliga has only 34 rounds in a season. The European Golden Boot award is based on the total number of goals scored in a league season, not the average number of goals scored per game. 18-year-old Yamal’s recent performance on the court has been disappointing, mainly relying on scandals and fights to attract the attention of fans. Since last year's European Cup, Yamal has been changing girlfriends very quickly. Fans are worried that the number of his ex-girlfriends will reach double digits earlier than his number of league goals in a single season. In the valuation list of active players, Yamal still ranks first with 200 million euros, and Mbappe, Haaland, and Bellingham are tied for second with 180 million euros. According to Yamal's unwillingness to make progress, it will be a matter of time before it falls to the top.
