A Pacers fan was arrested and charged for allegedly stabbing two Knicks fans in Game 2 of the playoffs. A Indiana Pacers fan faces multiple felony charges for allegedly stabbing two New York Knicks fans in a dispute at a Carmel bar in Indiana on Friday night, according to court documents. The two were watching Game 2 of the Pacers and Knicks Eastern Conference Finals at the time of the incident. Max Lewis of FOX59 News and CBS4 Indiana Channel reported that Jarrett Fink, found to be the suspect in the case, has been harassing two victims because they are fans of the Knicks. Witnesses told police that Funke was asked to leave the premises after the harassment escalated. He allegedly returned shortly afterwards and attacked two men with a knife. The Pacers' series against the Knicks has intensified before Game 4, with the suspect facing multiple felony charges. According to court documents, one victim was stabbed in the leg and another victim was stabbed in the back. Both victims have been treated. Shortly after the incident, police arrested Funke and took him to the Hamilton County Jail. Funke is charged with assault on others with a deadly weapon and reckless crime of using a deadly weapon. He made his first appearance on Tuesday afternoon, and the judge set his bail as $20,000 in cash or margin. The judge also issued a contact ban order prohibiting Funke from communicating with any victim involved. The conflict occurred at a time when the atmosphere of a high-stakes playoff series between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks was rising. The Pacers are currently leading 2-1. The fourth game will be held at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday at the Gainebridge Arena in Indianapolis and will be broadcast via TNT. The official has not released the names and current medical conditions of the victims, but there are currently no reports of life-threatening casualties. The case is still under investigation by Carmel police.
