41 years old and 82 games in full attendance? James: Knee and foot injuries are troublesome and are still recovering
September 30th News Today, Lakers forward James attended the media day of the new season and was interviewed by ESPN. James sprained the second-level medial collateral ligament on his left knee in the playoffs last season when the Lakers played against the Timberwolves. He said that for him personally, the first thing he needs to pay attention to is how to prepare his body for an 82-game season. "It's always a challenge: how can I get my body close to 100%? Obviously, the medial collateral ligament sprain last year and the foot problems that have bothered me from time to time over the past few seasons are challenges I have to face. So, I always try to get my body close to 100% as much as possible so that I can perform at a high level. I'm still recovering and not getting to where I want it. But then again, I don't want to get to that state now. There's still time in September, and I'm looking forward to the process," James said.
