Looking forward! 2025-2026 NBA preseason, Rockets with Durant

The Houston Rockets have four warm-up games to accumulate momentum to enter the regular season. Duran on No. 7 will show its super strength.

Okay, for the first time I had the opportunity to witness Kevin Durant and the newly renovated Houston Rockets, this moment has finally officially arrived. With Houston unveiling the four preseason schedule for the upcoming October, it has to be said that the schedule is quite interesting. After all, the preseason is only a preseason, and there will be no stars playing more than a quarter or halftime. Young people will make it at the end of the game, but this does not mean that the preseason lacks attention...at least from Houston's perspective.

You see, as mentioned earlier, the preseason gives us the first chance (hopefully) to meet Kevin Durant, Dorian Finney-Smith and the improved Rockets lineup. However, this is not only about joining new players, but also how players like Amen, Shin Kyung, Tari and Jabbarri perform on the field after full training during the offseason. All in all, it’s a pleasure to see this new team play on the court. There are no high expectations in the preseason, so we can see real rotation players coming on both the first quarter and the first half, which is much better than having no game to watch.

Let's look at the preseason schedule now. The preseason of the Rockets against the Hawks will kick off at Toyota Center on Monday, October 6 at 7 p.m.

Two days later Wednesday, October 8, also at 7 pm Eastern Time at the Toyota Center, the Rockets played against the Jazz.

Tuesday, October 14, at 7 p.m. Eastern Time, the Rockets started their two away games against the Pelicans, and the game was held in the traditional stadium.

Thursday, October 16, at 6:30 pm ET, the Rockets will end the preseason with the Hawks at the Atlanta State Farm Arena.

So, although the schedule is not many, I hope this is just a small warm-up for the Houston Rockets' expectations for the upcoming season!
