South Bay Lakers coach: It’s incredible to be able to train with GOAT James. He was the first to arrive and was extremely focused.

November 17th Today, the G League South Bay Lakers narrowly defeated the Torn City Mixed Team 113-111. After the game, South Bay Lakers coach Zach Guthrie was interviewed.

When asked about his feelings coaching Lakers forward James in training recently, Guthrie said: "Being able to train with the greatest player in history...First of all, this is a rare opportunity for each of us. Being able to participate in a small part of his career and help him in his 23rd season. It's been an unbelievable experience for me to get healthy enough to have him back playing with the Lakers. I find it unbelievable that when I'm typing my training plan, I have to type in LeBron James' name.

"It's been an unbelievable experience for all of our players. I think the most important thing is that I talked to them about these two days of training. I said, look at his training habits. He was the first one on the scene and he took training very seriously. He is totally focused during training and his level of focus is amazing. His preparation before and after training and how he takes care of his body is incredible. So, in addition to this being a second-to-second experience, he also has a lot for our players to learn. ”
