Hayes: My defenders gave me great opportunities and I was following their lead

After the game, Lakers player Hayes accepted an interview with reporters.

Reporter’s question: In today’s game, you went down to the basket and completed a dunk. What inspired you to play like this?

Hayes: It was our defenders. My defenders gave me a good opportunity. I do the same thing every night, it just depends on how the opponent's defense is. Sometimes it might just be them passing it to me and then I move out, or it might be me completing a dunk directly, or the defenders using the screen to complete a layup, so I just follow the rhythm of the defender.
