Sky: Jackson s loan fee of 13 million pounds hits record, so Chelsea agreed to buy it
August 30 Sky Sports reported that due to record loan fees, Chelsea agreed to Bayern's buyout offer for Jackson. Bayern Munich has reached a record loan agreement for Chelsea striker Nicholas Jackson. Chelsea's rental plan accepts a buyout option, with a prepaid rental fee of £13 million, plus a fixed buyout fee of £56.2 million and a resale share clause. The total transaction price can reach up to £70 million, which is in line with Chelsea's valuation of the player. Two years ago, the Blues spent £30 million when they introduced Jackson from Villarreal. Sky Sports News learned that if the buyout clause is triggered after the loan expiration, Jackson will sign a contract with Bayern for five years. Jackson, who has reached personal terms with Bayern, will fly to Munich on Saturday afternoon for a medical examination and complete the transfer. The 24-year-old striker told Chelsea earlier this month that he hopes to consider a transfer option after the club signs Joao Pedro and Drapp this summer. Despite receiving strong attention from many Premier League and European clubs, Jackson made up his mind to join after Bayern expressed his interest. After Friday night negotiations, Chelsea finally decided to accept the offer on Saturday morning, with the record loan fee prompting the Blues to accept the buyout option instead of the forced buyout clause. Bayern coach Kompany is considered a key factor in Jackson's selection of the Bundesliga. Exclusive Premier League Watch is in Migu
