Liverpool Club mourns Jota and calls for protection of Jota s privacy
On July 3, Liverpool striker Jota passed away. Liverpool Football Club issued a statement: Liverpool Football Club expressed deep condolences for Diogo Jota's death. The club confirmed that 28-year-old Jota and his brother Andre were both killed in a car accident in Spain. Liverpool Football Club said that it will not issue any more statements at this moment and called on the outside world to respect the privacy of Diogo and Andre's family, friends, teammates and club staff, so that they can get peace in this unbearable grief.
