German Football Association: Amiri is absent due to injury, the team calls up U21 international Udraogo

Hupu reported on November 10 that the German national team encountered personnel changes during the critical stage of the World Cup qualifying rounds. Mainz midfielder Amiri will miss the two games against Luxembourg and Slovakia due to adductor muscle discomfort, and did not report to Wolfsburg with the team.

Head coach Nagelsmann immediately called up Leipzig's U21 international Assan Ouedraogo to join the team as his replacement. Udraogo, who originally planned to prepare for the European Youth Championship qualifiers with the U21 national team, will arrive at the national team's residence on Monday evening.

Nagelsmann said: "Amiri's absence is regrettable. He originally occupied an important position in our lineup. We hope to strengthen this position one-on-one, so we decided to recruit Udraogo. His performance in the Bundesliga is very good and he is a young player with potential. Just like Elmara, we hope to better observe him in training."
