Aston Villa has restarted negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain to discuss the possibility of Marco Asensio's return. The Spanish international, who spent a pleasant loan last season at Villa Park Stadium, was eager to return after he had previously refused transfer applications from Türkiye and Saudi Arabia. Villa had asked about the 29-year-old's financial requirements for loan and transfer, and they have been seeking to strengthen their offensive roster. There are currently teams who are still interested in Ollie Watkins and Leon Bailey, so these two are still likely to be sold. According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle United remained interested in Watkins and also asked Jacob Ramsey and John McKinn, but it seems that Watkins and McKinn are unlikely to leave at present.
