After Caicedo parted ways with his agent, his family contracted with an anonymous lawyer to consult

Hupu, October 16th, the famous Daily Mail reporter Kieran Gil wrote an exclusive Chelsea weekly report.

Before discussing the consequences of this matter and who will represent the 23-year-old Chelsea midfielder Caicedo, it is necessary for us to review what happened at the time.

First of all, a statement suddenly appeared in Caicedo's news feed, informing us that he has broken up with his agent, Manuel Serra of Football Division Worldwide, while clarifying that his agent is not Ali Barat of Epic Sports Football.

The statement was written on a photo of Caicedo celebrating, ending with: "The contract will expire on August 14, 2025, and the player has now appointed someone he can trust."

But then, the sarcastic post disappeared from Caicedo's social media page. Daily Mail has immediately contacted those involved to find out what happened, including what we know about what happened behind the scenes.

We have received some news that although Barratt assisted Caicedo in his record-breaking £115 million transfer from Brighton to Chelsea, his actual agent was Serra. In fact, Serra's agent information was indeed listed in FA documents at the time.

Serra never responded to a request for comment.

Next, a new statement appeared on Caicedo's Instagram page. The content was the same as before, except that the sharp closing sentence was missing. This time, the ending was changed to: "The contract expires on August 14, 2025."

It is too late to change now, because this poorly worded original post has been screenshotted and shared on social media by Chelsea fans.

As if those teachers who teach public relations at universities were not satisfied enough and wanted to find a new case to study, this new post disappeared within five minutes of being uploaded to Caicedo’s page.

The revised statement remains on the Instagram of NM23, the sports marketing company that appears in Caicedo's Instagram profile below the Ecuadorian national team, Chelsea and his charity, the Moi 23 Foundation.

It's still there: the background is solid blue, not Caicedo's celebration.

It appears that the caption that originally mentioned the "new trusted person" has now been removed, leaving only the image itself.

Caicedo also received assistance from a company called VanquishSporttainment, which also helped Enzo Fernandez create his external image. Their website still lists both players as clients, along with Chelsea legend Eden Hazard and Strasbourg starlet Valentin Barco.

So, who will represent Caicedo from now on? The Daily Mail revealed that Caicedo will be counseled by his lawyer and family, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Chelsea is not worried about Caicedo and Serra's public breakup. His contract runs until 2031, with the option to extend for another year, and his performance may be rewarded with a raise. We are told that he is very happy at Stamford Bridge, competing at the highest level.
