July 5th News Today, Dudley expressed his gratitude to Mavericks coach Kidd and general manager Harrison on social media, and expressed his excitement for joining the Nuggets coaching staff. Dudley forwarded the Nuggets self-media NuggetsNation's welcome to him, and wrote next to him: "Thanks to Coach Kidd and Harrison for giving me the opportunity to become a coach from a player... I am excited to start the next chapter of my career with Coach Adelman and the Nuggets. Let's start." Dudley joined the Mavericks' coaching staff in 2021 and has been an assistant coach so far. Next, he will join the Nuggets and serve as Adelman's chief assistant coach.
