- Although it took some time, in the end, it was the right decision to make at the right time. I am not in a hurry, nor do I want to be under pressure or make a hasty decision. As Freind said, we talked last year and I felt good at that time, so now I'm glad it's going well.

Dialogue about last year

- Last year I promised to join Bayern because I felt good at that time, and of course, the situation this year has become more open. I thought about a lot of options, but eventually I chose Bayern because I was sure that was the right step.

Do you prefer to play as a left center back or a right center back in the four-back system?

- We have also played four-backs many times at Leverkusen, and I remember that the most we used against Bayern was this formation. In the three-back system, if I play as a center back and four-back, there is no problem whether it is left or right center back.
