TA: Everton is looking for Diblin again for £40 million, Southampton is expected to refuse
August 4th, TA famous reporter Ornstein reported that Everton updated his offer and asked for Southampton winger Dibrin again. It is reported that Southampton has not responded to the offer with additional terms and valued at about £40 million, but they recouped the higher fees for the sale of the local youth, so the offer is expected to be rejected. Previously, Everton's first offer for DiBrien had been rejected. DiBrien had never played in the Championship before and was eager to return to the Premier League. The 19-year-old's current contract expires in 2027 and he has also attracted interest from Aston Villa and Newcastle United. Dibrin was a Southampton main player last season, making 38 appearances in various competitions, scoring 4 goals and assisting 3 times, but he failed to help the club relegation.
