Sky: Wrexham is still keen on signing Davis, but may have to wait for Tottenham to introduce defenders
June 10 According to Sky Sports, Wrexham is still keen to sign Tottenham defender Ben Davis. Last weekend, Sky Sports revealed that the Championship club is in talks with Ben Davis. However, yesterday Tottenham triggered a one-year renewal clause in the player's contract. It is understood that this has not stopped Wrexham from viewing Ben Davis as one of the main signing targets this summer, but now he will need to pay a transfer fee to sign him, and Wrexham may have to wait for Tottenham to bring in more defensive players before Ben Davis will become an option again. In addition, Wrexham is also negotiating with West Ham forward Danny Ins and Leicester City goalkeeper Danny Ward.
