R.I.P. Inter former chairman Pellegrini died at the age of 84

On May 31, Inter Milan officially issued a statement that former chairman Pellegrini died at the age of 84.

Chairman Ernesto Pellegrini left us, who served as Inter Milan from 1984 to 1995, leading the club with extraordinary passion and wisdom to win honors.

Today, Inter Milan Football Club and all the fans of the Neptune Legion all over the world, paying their highest respect to President Pellegrini, and commemorating this great man who will always belong to the legend of the Neptune Legion.

Thank you, President Pellegrini. Blue and black will always remember you.

Pellegrini served as Inter Milan's president from 1984 to 1995. During his presidency, Inter Milan signed players such as Rummenig, Mattus, Klinsmann and Bremer, winning the Serie A championship, as well as two League Cups and one Italian Super Cup.

Pellegrini was inducted into the Inter Milan Hall of Fame in 2020, and in 2022, Pellegrini was inducted into the Italian Football Hall of Fame.
