Post: Drapp Jr. is expected to book a personal place in the next few days, and Manchester United and Chelsea have met him

May 27th, the Daily Mail reported that Ipswich striker Drapp Jr. is about to make a decision on his personal future.

It is reported that Drapp Jr. is expected to decide where he will go in the next few days, after a week he had met with interested clubs. He can transfer at £30 million due to the downgrade clause in the contract, and Ipswich has allowed him to negotiate with potential suitors willing to pay that amount.

Chelsea, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Everton have all made offers to the 22-year-old in recent days, and Drapp Jr. is weighing which club can provide the best opportunity for his career development. The key for the England U21 international is to gain stable playing time in a competitive team, while Chelsea and Newcastle United can also provide the extra appeal of playing in the Champions League.

Chelsea coach Maresca worked with Drapp Jr. for a season at Manchester City, and praised the young forward for being very outstanding. The Blues hope to use this influence to convince Drapp Jr. to join in the competition.

Drapp scored 12 goals in the league this season. Next month, he will be selected for the English roster coached by Lee Casley to participate in the European Youth Championship this summer.
