Official: West Ham signs first professional contract with youth training young player Riley Hagen
On May 8, West Ham officially announced that he would sign his first professional contract with youth training young player Riley Hagen. It is reported that Hagen, a midfielder who joined West Ham United youth training camp at the age of 6, recently officially signed his first professional contract in his life at the club. At the signing ceremony, his parents and two younger brothers attended and witnessed this important moment at Rush Green Training Base. As a loyal Hammer Gang fan in the Hornchurch area of Essex, Hagen joined West Ham United Football Academy after being discovered by the local grassroots team Byron Red Star. Twelve years later, this skilled midfielder has successfully passed the test of all levels of echelons and has obtained the opportunity to continue moving forward in a blue and white jersey. When talking about the feeling of signing, Hagen said: "I was very excited when I heard this news. It was incredible to be able to sign the first professional contract for the club I supported in my life. This is my dream since I was a child." When I learned that I had obtained the contract, Hagen said: "I was having a meeting with the staff to discuss this matter, and I was both nervous and looking forward to it. When they told me the good news, a smile immediately appeared on my face, and the joy was unspeakable." Although there were not many opportunities to play in the first year of becoming a player in the youth training system, Hagen grew rapidly this season and became one of the most trusted players in the U18 team. Not only did he become the second most players in the team, he also played a key role in helping the team win the Premier League Cup. Speaking of this victory, Hagen said: "It is an unforgettable experience and is of great significance to win the Premier League Cup. We have been eliminated in several other events before, so this championship is particularly important. Being able to celebrate the victory with good friends who play side by side at Chadwell Heath every day will be a memory that will accompany me for the rest of my life." West Ham's sports director Mark Noble also attended the signing ceremony and shared this joy with Hagen and his family. In addition, Hagen expressed his gratitude to Noble, saying, "It is very special to be able to connect with Noble. He has always been around me to give guidance and support, which has benefited me a lot."
