In an interview, Whitley said: "I am more focused on England's game now. "Even if my first loan was not going well, I can't say that completely. I know it in my heart. I also told the club staff that this experience cannot define what kind of player I am, nor will it determine where I will go in the future. I think this is just a small setback in my early career, and I hope I can recover next season."
