Physical status is ready

At the latest press conference, Amorin stressed that Sesco is ready to play against Arsenal. Despite the short preparation time, the Portuguese coach believes the striker has met his physical requirements.

"Yes, he's ready to play in this game. He really doesn't have a lot of time to prepare for this game, but he's ready," Amorim said.

"First of all, the physical condition is ready for the game, and as you know, physical fitness is a major part of this league."

Not sure it will be the starter

Amorin said he is still considering whether Sesco will play at the beginning of the game. He hopes to ensure his form before deciding the striker's playing time.

"He is a very smart player. He is able to complete any task he is given to him because he is a thinker," Amorin continued.

"He spends his time improving his physical fitness, so he's ready for the game. But let's see if he can be the starter right away."

Other options for the striker

If Sesco isn't ready to be the starter, Manchester United have other options to fill the striker's position.

Rams Hoylund will likely play as a starter, or Munden Mount may be placed as a fake Nine in this game.
