Jordanian media: Jordan s World Cup bonus is linked to the number of training camps, with the total bonus amount approaching US$3 million

June 19th, in the third stage of the Asian region of the World Cup qualifiers, Jordan 3-0 Oman in the 9th round of Group B, and South Korea defeated Iraq later. So far, South Korea and Jordan have locked in the top two positions in Group B and advanced to the World Cup one round ahead of schedule. This is also the first time that Jordan has entered the World Cup in history.

According to the Jordanian media winwin website, according to the internal financial reward system of the Jordan Football Association, players of the Jordanian national team will receive bonuses of varying amounts. The amount of the prize is linked to the time the player participates in training during the World Cup.

In order to advance to the World Cup finals, the Jordanian national team has experienced 5 training sessions. Each player who participates in the training camp can receive $30,000.

Some players participated in the first training camp but missed the second time; some players participated in the third and fourth training camps but did not participate in any of the previous training camps; while some players participated in all training camps. This makes it possible for each player to have a different total amount of bonuses.

Therefore, players who only participate in one training camp will receive a minimum prize of $30,000. Players who participate in all training camps in the Jordan national team will receive a maximum prize of US$150,000.

A total of about 50 players participated in various training camps of the national team. The technical team, coaching team, medical team and staff of the entire security system will also receive bonuses. The total bonus is expected to be close to $3 million.

It is reported that sponsors and private companies did not provide more bonuses, which shocked the Jordanian national team players because they had expected the bonuses to come one after another.

It is worth mentioning that the Jordanian national team will receive US$1.5 million from FIFA, which is a preparation fee subsidy for each team that advances to the World Cup finals. In addition, each team entering the group stage will receive $9 million.

Jordanian coach Jamal Salami is expected to submit a special preparation plan in the coming days, which may include attending five training camps.
