French striker Roman Domon announces commitment to join NCAA Murray State University

2025 French striker Roman Domon announced on social media that he has promised to compete in the NCAA college basketball game at Murray State, affiliated with the Missouri Valley League, and the team received the 13th franchise.

Domon, 6-8 (2 meters 03), was born in October 2005 and will turn 20 in October this year. He started playing in the French League at the age of 16 and recently participated in Adidas European Training Camp, a player worth paying attention to in the 2026 NBA Draft.

This season, Domon played for BCM Gravelines Dunkerque, the top French professional league team, and averaged 6.1 points and 3.0 rebounds per game for the team. The French U21 League averaged 17.9 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, with a shooting percentage of 50.3%. It is expected to represent France in the U20 European Youth Championship this summer.

Morray State also received his compatriot French defender Mathis Courbon, 6-5 (1.96), born in January 2005. The team's new coach Ryan Miller previously served as an assistant coach at Creton University. He is the elder brother of former NBA star Mike Miller, and Mike's son Mason Miller will also play at Murray State in the 2025-26 season.

‌2025 Finnish forward Abdullah Amzil announced his commitment to the NCAA UC Davis, affiliated to the Big West League, attended the Drive Basketball Academy in Finland, and visited the University of Toledo and the University of Wyoming. His older brother Mustapha Amzil previously played with the University of New Mexico at the University of Dayton and also has Moroccan ancestry.
