Farewell at home! Mannwan: De Bruyne s mosaic portrait unveiled at Manchester City Football Academy

May 21 The Manchester Evening News reported that De Bruyne will leave the team after the end of this season, and tonight's game against Bournemouth will be his last game at Etihad Stadium. Before the game, the club's chairman showed De Bruyne a mosaic mural specially made for him in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the team.

The mural is located next to the training ground of Manchester City's Football Academy. The mural shows De Bruyne's classic celebration move when Manchester City defeated Leicester City 6-3 in 2021.

This mosaic mural was created by Manchester City fans and local Manchester artist Mark Kennedy. The mural is another unanimous work of Manchester City clubs to the legendary players after Yaya Toure, Joe Hart, David Silva, Kompany, Aguero, Fernandinho and Gundogan.

In addition, the road connecting the youth training camp and the first team training center was renamed "De Bruyne Road".

De Bruyne, 33, is one of the most successful players in Manchester City's history. During his ten years at Manchester City, De Bruyne won 19 championship trophys including six Premier League titles and one Champions League title.
