Chelsea lost to Botafogo to qualify for the second time, but won the first place in two groups and entered the quarterfinals.

July 5th, in the quarterfinals of the Club World Cup, Chelsea beat Palmeiras, No. 1, 2-1 to advance to the quarterfinals.

Interestingly, Chelsea lost to Flamenco 1-3 in the group stage of this tournament, and their prospects were not optimistic as they qualify for the second place in the group.

But by chance, Chelsea qualified in the second place but did not meet Bayern, the hardest to chew in Group C. They defeated Benfica, the first in Group C and Palmeiras, the first in Group A, to advance to the semi-finals.
