Camacho: Mourinho is still the top coach now, he will always be a Real Madrid player

August 22 Camacho recently interviewed Portugal's "The Globe" and talked about Mourinho.

Mourinho's personality is somewhat controversial

"In the world of football, this is even a good thing. With his personality and way of doing things, he will devote himself to everything and know how and when to create controversy. This is the positive side of his personality and the trait that has made him a great coach."

Is coaching Fenerbahce a regression in his career?

"Murinho is a smart man. He has been coaching for many years and knows that what decisions should be made at each stage are most beneficial to him. Turkish football is not the same as before, and with the addition of high-level players and coaches, he is improving. There must be a reason for him to choose there. He can coach in Saudi Arabia, the Premier League or anywhere he wants, because he is still one of the benchmark coaches in the world football world."

Mourinho once said that he wanted to coach the Portuguese national team. You have also been in charge of the national team. What is the difference between coaching the national team and the club?

"The main difference lies in the daily work model. I left the Spanish national team because I was eager for daily training. If I were to leave now, I might not leave. But at that time I was passionate about football and had to be on the court every day. The national team coach had to call up players every two months and perform a brief running-in. This was a different and wonderful but also boring job."
