Baldanzi: We entered the European war under Ranieri and completed an incredible pursuit
June 12th During his European Youth Championship, Italian U21 player Baldanzi took the time to interview with ideasista/news, reviewed the club season just past, and shared his views on the city and ideal residence of Rome. Would you like to summarize the just-concluded Roman season for us? What was your most memorable moment this year? We did have some difficulties at the beginning of the season, but in the second half we did a very good performance under coach Ranieri, who gave us the peace and confidence we needed. I can't think of a specific moment. I would rather say it was the first half of 2025: We completed an incredible catch-up, and although the first half was not ideal, we finally successfully entered the European war. Which area do you live in? Are you used to living? I chose to live near the city center so that I can better enjoy the beauty of the city of Rome and feel its historical atmosphere every day. What is your ideal residence like? Are outdoor spaces like balconies and gardens important? Yes, I like a house with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. It is a wonderful thing to admire the Roman scenery from the balcony. Of course, my ideal residence will also vary depending on the city I live in in the future. Do you spend more time at home? Do you often walk around the city? I like to spend time with my family or friends at home, and my living in the city center also shows that I like to go out for a walk, relax and feel the atmosphere of the city when I have time. Do you have any hobbies outside of football? I attach great importance to family and friendship and like to spend time with friends. In addition to football, I also like tennis very much and pay attention to it frequently. If you were asked to choose a roommate from your teammate, who would you choose? I will definitely choose Picily. We have a good relationship and are very good friends in private. Of course, I don’t know what would be like if I had been with him 24 hours a day, both at home and at Trigoria training base (laughs). Will you consider investing in real estate? To be honest, I haven't seriously considered this issue yet, after all, I'm still very young. But after retiring, I will definitely learn more about this field, and real estate investment is also one of the options I cannot rule out.
