NBA insiders reveal: Four teams have tried to trade to get LeBron James

In Sunday's Los Angeles Lakers' NBA Summer League game against the New Orleans Pelicans, ESPN's Dave McMeehan revealed that four teams contacted Ritchie Paul in an attempt to trade for LeBron James.

Of course, this has caused heated discussions on the Internet. Late Saturday night and early Sunday morning were spent guessing which four teams contacted James' agents in an attempt to plan a deal for the greatest player of all time.

On Sunday afternoon, NBA insider Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson revealed which four teams asked the player, ending the speculation. The possibility of reuniting with the Cavaliers is too reasonable.

Even after the trade got Donovan Mitchell, the Cavaliers failed to go further than the Eastern Conference semifinals. They have been lacking a good winger since James left in 2018.

Inserting James into the young core of Mitchell and Evan Mobley would make the Cavaliers a favorite in the East, who dominated the East for many years before signing with the Lakers.

Los Angeles Clippers

It can be argued that the team that is most likely to trade with Paul to get James is the Clippers.

Maybe they are finally tired of playing the supporting role of the Lakers in Hollywood.

We know that James and his family love living in Los Angeles. His career was there. If he transfers to another team in Los Angeles, it will cause a sensation in the basketball world.

Dallas Mavericks

The Mavericks traded Luca Doncic to sign Copper Flag. Is this good luck enough? Isn't it?

James can reunite with Kyrie Irving in Dallas. They played great music together during their three seasons in Cleveland, which led to them reaching at least the NBA Finals.

For the Mavericks, it would be very interesting to reunite with James, Irving and Anthony Davis, who told fans that they entered the "winning championship mode right now" after trading Doncic.

Golden State Warriors

This may seem a little wrong, as James and the Warriors have been in fierce competition for years. But we see how much he enjoyed playing with Stephen Curry at the Olympics last summer.

Not to mention, Paul also represents Drummond Green, who has a famous friendship with James. The Warriors also brought in Jimmy Butler, who really helped Golden State in the second half of the season.
