June 3rd Halliburton was interviewed by reporter Taylor Rooks, and during which he talked about his talent show experience.

"I had many teams I wanted to go to at that time. I liked the Warriors very much. It felt like my dream, but I knew they would probably not choose me with the second pick (finally choosing Wiseman). I probably missed about 5 goals during the trial. I think the Bulls (Parway was chosen in the fourth pick), the Knicks (Toping was chosen in the eighth pick), and the Pistons were all good. I think the Pistons needed a point guard at that time, and I thought I was the best point guard in the rookie that year.

"ESPN has a rookie list, and the top three are Edwards, Wiseman, and Lamelo Ball. Apart from that, I was the best. So when they were selected, each camera would find me.
