Fischer: Wade s deal won t happen soon, the Cavaliers have considered using him for Bower
According to NBA insider and Bleacher Report reporter Jake Fischer, the deal between Dean Wade and the Cleveland Cavaliers will not "came soon." Next season is the last year of Wade's contract, and his salary will reach $6.6 million. "There must be a lot of discussion about Dean Wade this summer," Fischer said. "I mean, I think a lot of teams think he's an efficient, low-cost, plug-and-play player who can defend multiple positions. But I think the discussion about Wade mostly happened when the Cavaliers considered the deal that ended up with Lonzo Ball. I think the Cavaliers had considered having one of Ocorro and Wade away, and they turned Isaac Ocorro into Lonzo Ball." "So, so far, I haven't been following Dean Wade's trading market, but the last thing I heard was that Cleveland would either trade one of the players or trade another, and I won't look forward to Dean Wade's trade here in the near future."
