Curry talked about refusing the Warriors trial training back then: I want to go to a team that suits me, but I don t want to disappear after being selected

June 28th News Today, basketball content creator KingCharge posted a video of Curry's interview before the draft.

Curry talked about the reasons why he refused to try out for the Warriors: "You need to see if the team's lineup is right, look at their lineup. You don't want to disappear after being selected (in the lineup) and don't want to be swallowed by the system. So you'll want to go to teams that suit your style of play, where you can thrive."

In the 2009 draft, Curry was selected by the Warriors at the 7th pick, and the Kings chose Tyrek Evans at the 4th pick.

The Warriors' star was defender Monta Ellis, who was traded to the Bucks in the 2011-12 season.
