October 24th NBA regular season, the Warriors defeated the Nuggets 137-131 in overtime. Butler accepted an interview with the media on the sidelines after the game.

Reporter: For the home opening game, how did you feel on both offense and defense in the final stage (including overtime)?

Butler: It feels great, top atmosphere, top shooting, it feels good to win the first victory at home.

Reporter: Tell me about your attention to detail. This was a great offensive battle, but there were also some outstanding defensive performances. Those switches without the ball ensured that the opponent could not target our smaller defenders. How much discussion and research have you had on these complex switches without the ball?
