American News: Pembersey will join the Mavericks coaching staff. He and Kidd worked with the Lakers & assisted the team to win the championship
June 11th According to American basketball reporter Jimmy Crowther, Nuggets shooting coach Mike Pembersey will join the Mavericks coaching staff. Penberg and current Mavericks coach Kidd both joined the Lakers coaching team in 2019 and served as an assistant coach with Kidd during the 2020 Lakers championship; he also won the championship with the Lakers as a player in 2001. Since 2022, Pembersey has served as the shooting coach of the Nuggets and won the 2023 championship with the team. According to famous reporter Marc Stein, Kidd is considering adding Jay Triano to his coaching staff.
